So, does everyone remember this?
Club Fair was a BIG success! Thanks to all you club heads and members, as well as everyone who took the time to stop by and sign up. We’ve got a few photos from the night. If you want to see them, head over to our SPARC Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SPARCatBard, and “like” us while you’re there!
Now that everyone officially has their budgets, it’s time to use up that club money on parties and events! Need a little help? Don’t worry, we know how hard it is to get things working at first. Here’s a few thing you can do:
- Check out the Q+A Panel Discussion for New Club Heads. Sammie Brechlin is running a panel discussion in Weis Cinema (in the Campus Center) at 7:30 pm on Thursday, September 27. There will be experienced club heads as well as a few SPARC interns there to answer any questions you might have. No really, ANY question, no matter how big or small! And if you don’t have a question, come anyway! Maybe you’ll learn something you didn’t know that you didn’t know. (Still following me? )
- Drop on by the SPARC office (located in the Student Activities office in the Campus Center, second floor). Look, a lot of things go into pulling off a successful event, and sometimes it can get crazy confusing. Don’t be afraid to drop by the SPARC office for a little help. We can walk you through how to book space, plan for sound and set-up, register your event, fill out a Purchase Order Form or Check Request – anything. If we don’t know the answer to your question (and we know a lot) then we’ll figure out who best to ask. So don’t be shy! Come on down!
- Keep updated with Facebook and Twitter! Make sure to “like” us on Facebook or follow Bard Activities on Twitter. We’ll be posting frequent updates on club deadlines and announcements, as well as info on upcoming events. And we’ll be doing some cool things here on the SPARC blog too, so check back often!
That’s all we have for today, folks! Have a great week, and remember to check in Thursday for our very first club spotlight! (Who will it be? Who will it be?? It’s a mystery!)
