Overview of Bard College Comic Book Symposium

Each spring, in mid-April, Bard College hosts a symposium which features student work on the subject of comic books and graphic art. Originally started by professor Ben Stevens and now in its fifth year, the comic book symposium is looking to branch out and invite outside professionals in the industry to come speak to us. Therefore, for the first time, we are applying for a club status so as to be able to raise funds for the symposium. The mission of the event itself (that is, to present student work on the subjects of comic books and graphic art) will remain the same- we simply wish to expand our reach a little bit.
