Overview of fRe-Use

The fRe-Use store is a cherished and invaluable resource at Bard, and hopefully will continue to be until 2012 when everything will be free, rendering the store to be useless.
Right now the Free store has no funding other than the government-sponsored workstudy funds that solely go to the workers. BERD has no excess money, and even the free things in life sometimes need a little bit of financial help.
This club exist for two reasons. The primary is to get a budget for much needed hardware that any thriftstore, even the free ones, need. The second is to make the student body aware that the freestore is not owned by the workers, the government, or any type of organic authority what-so-ever. The free store is the peoples store, and it is up to the community to keep it going.
