Overview of Hindu Students Organization (HSO)
Hinduism is one of the major religions of the world and is practiced by over 900 million people everyday. Taking this into consideration it seems fitting to establish a Hindu Student’s Organization (HSO) at Bard College. Our objective is to plan events that educate Bard Students the complexities of this intricate religion. Since this is our first semester as a club we are aware that we will face some challenges; however, we are hopeful that Bard students will realize the importance of having such a class on campus. Taking this into account, we are planning on celebrating most fall holidays as required by Hindu law.
