If you would like to be a part of the SMOG Club please e-mail smog@bard.edu and ask for your e-mail to be added to the e-mail list. Visit SMOG on MySpace.com.
If you want to book a BAND PRACTICE or CONCERT in SMOG:
- Check the Calendar http://ical.mac.com/smogshows/SMOG
- E-mail smog@bard.edu with the open date(s) and time(s) you would like to reserve and wait for a confirmation - you should see it added on the calendar.
- You MUST fill out the YELLOW FORMS in the Student Activities office (campus center, second floor) by the WEDNESDAY before your show! Fill out and return the CHECKLIST to smog@bard.edu before your show.
- Wait to be added to the access list (within the week you submit a request).
- When you wish to access SMOG go to security, give them your ID, and they will give you the keys. RETURN THE KEYS RIGHT AFTER YOU LEAVE SMOG!!!!!!!!!
*****If you need $ for a show you're planning e-mail the head of the Rock'n'Roll Society (for gas, food, beer $) or the Entertainment Committee enterain@bard.edu for the BIG BUCKS*****
AFTER YOU USE SMOG:
- lock the doors
- turn off the lights
- put the equipment back in the audio closet neatly
- report broken or stolen equipment immediately to security and smog@bard.edu
CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR SHOW!
Make sure that all bottles/trash, inside AND outside (especially near thesoccer field!) is in the trash cans. Please take the trash bags out of the trash cans, tie them up and leave them outside of SMOG to be picked up by B & G.
