The Root Cellar is an all student-run volunteer coffee shop located in the basement of McVicker (behind Stone Row). We are open from 2PM-midnight Monday-Friday serving fair-trade coffee, espresso and veg*n snacks. We also have wireless! The Root Cellar is home to the Infoshop, comprised of the Lending Library and the Zine Library, one of the largest in the Northeast. This space also operates as a cooperative meeting place, used by groups such as the Student Action Collective and its various working groups, the Environmental Collective, the Animal Rights Group, the Knitting Club, the Radical Wimmin's Health Collective, Migrant Labor Project, and others.
