HORSE RESCUE PROJECT The Bard Cavaliers Horse Rescue project has begun organization a proposal to send to TLS for funding. We'll also be targeting local and national companies for donations. Once funding has been established, the club will 'rescue' an equine (we're currently looking at NYC carriage horses, off the track TB's, horses at auction, PMU foals, and other horses destined to become European dinners). It will be available (when it is stable enough) for open house visits during the week by non-club students and faculty. In addition, it will be on campus during Spring Fling 2006 to promote Equine Slaughter awareness to the community. Other information will be posted as it is received.
