LAZY and blasting through to meet myself
on this other side of the stage dream
a positive reinforcement
to the country and its bureaucracy
broken open
	to reveal
the time I needed to get a social security card
a block was a building
		the lot was full today
		but empty yesterday
		LAZY
		But won't give up yet.
Can't. Won't. There must be something
wrestable from this blocky manner of
			speaking.
Ships or something. Slow it down.
A blank cartoon? Do you hear
the notes as they fall in front of you No
		you must take them
one at a time and move
				West with sure-footedness

				add abstraction to
				I'm not happy
with anything I need or say
where they don't want to go
				a weak link
				not fast enough
				piling up
				snippets rise
				to make a forest
				in sounds and the image
				must completely be
				left behind the syntax broken
				operative
					engineer
				would
					complete dissolution
in the chemical sense given up
				each time connected pun
				to pun to sundown
over someplace I've never been isn't
that what anyone wants to have done
				be brought
				to experience
				thousands of sunsets
				all over a world
				how specific can we be
				there are thousands
				won't dwindle them down
				rely instead
				on internal connection
				slow reading or fast
				Gertrude Stein

				I evidently lost
				the hiking book
				unless Arlo took it
				the lights on and the
				rush-hour traffic makes
				life lyrical
at the end of the day
				O sparrows
				compete to be in
				me the room
					is
stuck with words I haven't said
